  • November 25, 20021 -- Overhauled the section on the Loves of Krishna by adding colorized images of the illustrations and enlarging the images. Added a new book to the George MacDonald section, a summary of At the Back of the North Wind. Illustrated the page with images created with the Nightcafe AI.

    November 24, 2021 -- Revamped the Edgar Allan Poe section with summaries of the Fall of the House of Usher, the Cask of Amontadillo and the Masque of the Red Death and the Pit and the Pendulum, among others.

    November 21, 2021 -- Began renovations to the Dance of Death by Holbein b making th template more mobile friendly and also adding text. Did 10 of the first 49 panels. Also did extensive renovations to the Legends of the Jews section, adding abstract digital art to enhance the text. Also improved the css and other elements.

    November 19, 2021 -- Completely revamped the Vocabulary Builder section. Revuilt the shell, and added images. Also revamped and added images to the articles on Salinger, Confederacy of Dunces, Molesworth, and Bios.

    October 31, 2021 -- Made upgrades to the sections on William Hope Hodgson, Edgar Allan Poe mainly by fixing broken links and adding some content including graphics.

    November 7, 2015 -- began converting site to a mobile friendly format. Converted articles on Truman Capote, Salinger, Ex Libris Bookplates, and biographies. Completed conversion.

    October 31, 2015 -- converted the William Hope Hodgson subdomain to a mobile friendly format.

    December 13, 2014 -- enabled htaccess compression and caching to improve speed of site

    November 11, 2014 -- Fixed some broken ads and code.

    March 16. 2014 -- Added sitemap to Google Webmaster tools

    March 12, 2014 -- Repositioned the ads to see if that improves clickthrough

    February 17, 2014 -- Fixed a linking problem. Added a visual navigation bar to the William Hope Hodgson section.

    February 16, 2014 -- Rebuilt the section on Lilith, the novel by George MacDonald and also built an introductory page to Phantastes.

    February 15, 2014 -- Upgraded the SSI and navigation to the Edgar Allan Poe section. Added a site map for the local subdomain. Added a biography of Poe.

    February 5, 2014 -- Added a large image to the Egyptian Book of the Dead and rearranged the advertisements on the front page.

    January 26, 2014 -- changed the layout by putting the amazon ad above the fold and also adding contextual amazon advertising on the side.

    January 20, 2014 -- Improved the opening section on Medieval Libraries. Added crosslinks at bottom of each page. Added content to the section on Secret Rooms. Added content to and images to section on William Hope Hodson.

    January 15, 2014 -- added an article about The Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole and also improved the bottom navigation bar to cross link internally to other sections on the site. Added a side bar pointing to articles on other sites on the network.

    April 4, 2013 -- improved the Edgar Allan Poe section by standardizing navigation and SSI. Ditto for the section on secret hiding places.

    April 3, 2013 -- made improvements to the sections on Lilith, Phantastes and The Princess and the Goblin. I also improved the section about Baron Munchausen and the Loves of Krishna.

    April 2, 2013 -- added site maps to some subdomains and revamped the main site map. Added a contact form.

    April 1, 2013 -- added a biography and critical assessment of William Hope Hodgson as well as summaries and online books of his books The Nightland, The House on the Borderland and The Boats of the Glen Carrig.

    March 21, 2013 -- added a favicon to the main page using the generator at http://www.genfavicon.com/. Revamped the Legends of the Jews by improving linkage, adding SSI.     March 18, 2013 -- started modifications to the front page.

    October 5, 2009 -- remade the section on Edgar Allan Poe by adding a short bio, rearranging the texts, and redesigning the ads and navigation.

    September 21, 2009 -- revamped the privacy policy.

    January 1, 2009 -- made a few cosmetic changes to the main page of the Lord Dunsany online libary. Note: you will need to fix up the book pages as well. Also added a search feature allowing people to search for audio books from the audiobook section. Is this okay with G Tos? Check. Removed all trafficzap codes from the site.

    December 22, 2008 -- added some new quotes about books. Repositioned many images in order to make Mr G happy.

    June 17, 2007 -- added a new book: Holbein's Dance of Death. This is a macabre yet beautiful medieval book consisting of 49 woodcut illustrations. The illustrations depict death as the great leveler of mankind, taking the young, the old, the rich and the poor.

    June 10, 2007 -- added a section on embroidered books which features a photo gallery of the best examples.

    May, 2007 - revamped the look of the main page and many other sections. Created new galleries of illustrations for the Yorkshire picture gallery as well new and improved site maps.

    February 25, 2007 -- created a google site map for some of the subdomains including Lord Dunsany, Edgar Allan Poe and George MacDonald.

    February 22, 2007 -- removed the trafficzap code from the front page which seemed to make the site very slow and also added descriptions on the whois.sc wiki.

    February 11, 2007 -- made improvements to the Lord Dunsany Archive and the the works of George MacDonald.

    February 10, 2007 -- made minor improvements to the section on Edgar Allan Poe, including a photograph of the author and improving links to his most popular stories such as the Fall of the House of Usher.

    January 25, 2007 -- completed a new section of Useful Phrases

    January 24, 2007 -- Made improvements to the linking structure and added alt tags to the illustrations of the Yorkshire Moors and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.
